Gracious Space: An Invitation to Community Dialogue

Tuesday, Jan. 16
6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
One Location in every Council District

Gracious Space: An Invitation to Community Dialogue is a chain of events that will launch the reconstitution of Study Circles — a series of small group, participant-driven, dialogue-to-action discussions where people can express their views in a candid, safe environment.

Participants will share attitudes towards spaces we occupy, examine conditions necessary for healthy relationship across differences, and publicly wrestle with Jacksonville, FL becoming the best version of itself. There will be 14 different Gracious Space experiences occurring concurrently in all 14 Jacksonville City Council districts.

The Jacksonville Human Rights Commission, in collaboration with 904WARD and United Way of Northeast Florida, look forward to developmental city-wide conversations that lead to changes we want to see in the world, and activating projects, programming, and events that serve as sustainable and consistent community-building work.
